SkinSight was born from a unique fusion of science, passion, and purpose.
As a computer scientist with a deep fascination for artificial intelligence and machine learning, I've always been driven by the idea of building solutions that solve real-world problems. That mission found new life when I met Sienna—an experienced dermal aesthetician with a gift for understanding skin health and a heart for helping people feel confident in their skin.
From the very beginning of our relationship, something clicked—not just emotionally, but creatively. Over long walks and late-night conversations, we'd find ourselves imagining a future where our worlds could collide: hers of hands-on skin care, and mine of algorithms and innovation. We dreamed of an AI-driven app that could empower people and support doctors around the world in identifying skin concerns early, quickly, and accurately.
That idea never left us.
After completing further specialization in computer vision through OpenCV University and launching my own computer vision tech company, the pieces finally aligned. With the experience, resources, and shared passion in place, SkinSight was no longer just an idea—it was a calling.
